They overlayed together into one being as attempted to block the tentacles. They quickly summoned Zexal Weapon Tornado Bringer an Zexal Weapon Lightning Blade to cut through the tentacles. They slowly walked towards the throne but Vector intensified the attack. It was getting harder and harder to cut through the assault.

“We need more power!” shouted the Zexal-formed being.

They evolved into their second form. With their increased power they easily deflected the tentacles away. They confidently walked up to Vector without fear and grabbed the Don Thousand’s Throne card.

“No! What are you doing?” screamed Vector.

“Putting you in your place” declared the Zexal-formed being. “Re-contract Universe!”

The card changed from Don Thousand’s Throne the The Emperor’s Throne. Vector was not sitting in a chair that resembled the Emperor’s Key and was strapped in by Yuma and Astral’s will.

The Zexal-formed being walked up to the bound Vector and moved their face close to his.

Vector yelled, “No! What are you going to do to me?”

They smiled and then sat on Vector’s lap. “You have been very bad so we think you need punishment time. You are ours now to do whatever we want with.”

They grabbed Vector’s head and kissed his neck. Vector shivered as a kaleidoscope of emotions raced through him

Yuma and Astral smiled as they said, “Oh yes. This will be fun.”

I watched this series from day one. The mystery was great, I was genuinely invested in the characters. Two years later, and this is the payoff? I'm watching out of obligation at this point, and I know a lot of others are too. What the fuck, Konami?

The main issue of 5ds was all that filler, not even the sex cults were responsible for that since they only shafted Carly and Aki's roles to have them replaced by Yusei, Jack and Crow shilling pack filler tier cards.

Nah he mentions in Interviews how the the Dark Signers story was based straight off his old rejected manga and he was involved with the planning of the show up to that point before letting the staff and producers do whatever they want. While Ono and Yoshida certainly did more work, Kaz laid down a foundation for them to work on, but Tomioka did a better job with the writing which is why 1-26 was closer in tone to the original manga.
