It's really sad. But the 2nd half not only fucked up plot, it also shat on Freyja too. Did Freyja do anything memorable in 2nd half?
In the first half she did so much crazy stuff. For example she was running and singing under heavy fire in episode 1. The whole Rune Pika dancing under moonlight in episode 5. Saving of cat dad in episode 8. Jumping from Aether in ep 13. And lots of other memorably stuff.
In 2nd half she did absolutely nothing. There was her mating face in birthday episode and extremely short scene with loli Freyja singing Seikan Hikou. I seriously can't remember anything else. No wonder people started forgetting about her.
