Which Wacom? I have the old Graphire4 6" X 8" that retired like ~4 months after I bought it. In the time since then, Wacom has gone through at least 1-2 different product lines like Bamboo. I remember back when I was in high school they were cheap enough I replaced my small Wacom the moment it kicked it, now I've been stuck for years with the demon tablet from hell everyone keeps telling me is awful for my injuries because it doesn't pick up unless you hold the pen a certain way. Even the hobbyist range is damn expensive now. I'll never upgrade at this rate.

I've been doing cards traditionally every year because printing is a pain, but the colour feels shoddy in comparison to what I see in threads, and there's a couple colours you just don't find in pencil form. Maybe instead of a new tablet I should save for an off-brand set of water/alcohol based markers.

I had the Wacom Intuos 4 (large size) so most of the pens I saw were second hand or super expensive. Instead I saved money towards new tablet (I have a Cintiq 22HD now). But I actually purchased the Wacom Intuos Draw as a Christmas present for my imouto last year . It's nice, but I'm so used to drawing on larger tablets I was thrown off while playing around with it.

I own copics and they're super nice and used them for /ss/ last year (pic related). I feel limited by some of the colours in my current collection. I also have a couple of the "Touch" brand, and they're pretty OK too but are around the same price. Problem is that they run out a lot more quickly than a tablet's lifespan.
