Blue Lagoon and all its characters are two dimensional as fuck. Fun is about the only thing it has going for it, but minus the explosions and shootouts the dialog and characters become insufferable. Like Naruto, its hard to imagine what kind of full grown adult could legitimately enjoy the show.

As far as Revy goes, Yoko in Gurren was meant to be a parody of two dimensional spunky fapbait and even she ends up being more developed than Revy.
