Alright /a/. How would you deconstruct the catgirl genre

Have them be feral beasts that would fuck you up in any second. Doesn't try to act cute, always steals your food when you don't look at them. They're complete assholes, are always bringing in dead rodents and birds. Probably smell like complete shit. Just like actual cats.

They only want petting every once in a while. Which will be nice. The rest of the time, however, they'll be pushing you off of your bed or couch so they can have a place to rest.

Autists cant relate to humans but also theyre teenagers so their hormones are on fire. They can relate to pets and through the magic of imagination and drawing shit, it can be possible to fap to 1/2 girls 1/2 cats. This is veiled by a brittle "plot" and called a "show" and therefore slightly less wierd and approachable by new potential viewers / weirds.

Cats are independent creatures when they mature so they can start out really cute and dependent when they're young but will constantly brush you off and treat you like walking furniture as they get older and crankier.

If anything, dog girls are the actual equivalent cat girls given their nature.
