Azusa fails entry to their college and ends up going to some mediocre university and getting a business degree and working in a cubicle for the rest of her life. Her workspace is filled with pictures and keepsakes from the Light Music Club, and every day she slaves away at a computer, reminded of her youth and the good times she has. Often times she tries to contact her old high school friends, but they don't respond. Azusa wonders if she's been forgotten.

Fast-forward five years. A tired, haggard Azusa comes home from a 10 hour work day. She unlocks the door to her shitty apartment, slumps down in a chair and turns on the television. She sees Hokago Tea Time, her four former friends, on stage at Budokan. She reaches for her pills, pours out a handful, and falls asleep, staining her blanket with tears.
