Just got back from listening to the orchestra perform Dvorak's symphony no. 9. Can we have a Shinsekai Yori thread to celebrate?
Squealer did nothing wrong
fine

>>148808698
Only thing he did wrong was lose
>>148808649
Did that show have any movement other than 2 at any point? It's such good music.
>>148808649
That sounds so fun.
>>148808649
All I know about Dvorak is the new world symphony. What else of his would you recommend?
>>148808825
Yes, they played the entire symphony. They also played Samuel Barber's concerto for violin and orchestra.
>>148809005
>>148809005
Definitely check out symphony no 8. It's his most light-hearted.
Is this anime worth picking up?Because I droped it around 10 episodes in.
>>148809550
Yes. Enjoy the squealer ride
Squealer did everything wrong
>>148809550
It was quite a ride but the gay shit was really in your face and annoying, other than that it was okay.
>>148809550
Don't worry anon, this show probably just isn't for you. Why don't you forget all about this shitty cartoon, and go treat yourself to a nice tall glass ofbleach
>>148809550
I've been watching it for the past week and I just finished episode 21. I would honestly say no, I don't think I've ever cared less for a cast of characters for a show I've watched this long. And as the plot progresses things just begin to feel more ridiculous and convoluted.
RIP Saki
So which Saki was the best Saki. Personal favorite of mine was pic related, though it was only for like that episode if I recall correctly.
>>148808649
It was better in Night on the Galactic Railroad
>>148809005
The Cello Concerto in B minoris one of the best for the instrument
American Quartet
Bagatelles
String Quartet No. 3
>>148810073
Adult Saki using her deeper voice is pretty hot.
>>148808649
>UTW
aw man that takes me back, I can't remember the last time I used something besides horriblesubs
>>148810073
I liked younger Saki the best, also Saki a best.
>that manga Saki
>>148810337
>>148810385
>adult Saki was really hot
>teenage Saki was pretty good
>young Saki is gets the majority of doujins
I mean not that I mind, but I'd have liked some more variety.
>>148810381
>I can't remember the last time I used something besides horriblesubs
>not waiting for FFFast
>not waiting for the BDs
Fucking plebs, get out.
>parents ask if I want to tag along to a concert
>it's for some violin concerto
>decline, wasn't interested in that piece
>weeks later
>"Oh, and they also played Dvorak's 9th!"
FUCK
>>148808649
This show is faux-deep shit that only gets talked about on /a/ because of the gayshit shock scenes.
>>148810469
Shioroku did young, teenage, and adult. I give the guy full points. Too bad teenage one was never scanlated.
>>148810480
>they also played Dvorak's 9th!
That's a 40+min extra, how the fuck wasn't that on the program?
>>148810540
Oh yeah, that's the one where the most we got was a sample right? It was too vanilla to me (at least that's what it looked like), but it still would have been nice to get the whole thing.
>>148810471
I really doesn't worth it unless all you watch are heavily censored lewd shows (ie Xebec).
Most of the airing stuff are simply not worth watching at all past their airing season.
>>148810480
So you want to be in a 3-4 hours concert just to hear a song they used in a cartoon that's only like 3 minutes long?
Saki has the best ass
>>148810541
They were only interested in the violin concerto so they pretty much forgot about the symphony. Pretty retarded of me to not check the program myself but I guess there will come many oppertunities to see it again. It's so fucking good and I've been dying to hear how it sounds being heard directly from an orchestra
>>148810708
>implying I don't want to hear the entire symphony
>>148809818
>but the gay shit was really in your face and annoying
Opinions. It was cute.
>>148810857
Yeah, and your opinion is shit.
>>148810857
I thought the "gay shit" was supposed to show how fucked up the society was. I'm surprised so many faggots liked it.
>>148810469
there's still the manga if you want adult saki
>>148810899
They like anything gay, so not very surprising.
>>148810381
I take it that you're not watching Dragon Ball Super and didn't watch Delta. Also, speaking of fansubs, on my favourite aspects of them was when they (most gg) left commercials in the subs.
>>148810899
>Most discussed shows on /a/ this season are gay shit
Color me surprised senpai
>>148810899
Could be, like Brave New World and the soma. I thought it was like, "This society isn't like ours." And to show how dangerous psychic powers are, and how hard they try to control them.
>>148808649
Dvorak is a shit tier keyboard.
God tier composer though.
>>148810708
Yes.
This is the only anime I've watched in one sitting.
>>148808649
holy shit, another yuri shit thread
fuck off /u/ shitposters invaded /a/
>>148808649
>>148808825
I love this symphony so much, but why do the JPs as well? It was in Penguindrum too.
>>148808649
Lol shit and boring anime
>>148814339
The "Going Home" part is played a lot throughout Japan.

The Seventh is secretly the best one. Ninth is a meme honestly.
