I mean at the end of the day, I'll take what I can get and it was a solid adaptation. But in many ways it was also disappointing. My main gripe is that Yuki's climactic mindbreak moment was handled so much better in the manga. That was one of the most powerful moments I've ever read in a manga and the anime just straight up changed it and very much for the worse.

Still, I respect Lerche for doing a mostly faithful and extremely well-produced adaptation of a great manga I thought would never get adapted.
