The one thing that ruins the show so far is the existence of magic in general, I hope it's explained well.
There's a lot of attention to detail to make the world technologically and culturally accurate, as a historyfag I'll be pretty butthurt if they toss away that detail just to have Izetta destroy Nazis purely through magic.

The yurishit will probably weigh it down too, but at least the princess was willing to get the D before, even if it was just for political reasons. Plus there'll be male characters and not all of them are evil, so this will probably be better than most general yurishit.

Besides, I watched the show expecting it to be more generic than it was. Their alternate earth is pretty much just WW2 Europe with vaguely different names. This isn't a particularly creative setting or anything, they just went to the effort of making the /k/ stuff detailed/accurate.
