An advice if you don't care about the resamples and you have ample GP, which you should as an uploader, you can change the option in the settings and have it autoselect the original gallery. It saves a few clicks and doesn't require you paying attention, it's what I do.

I've made a extremely barebones website version of the external "database". I only started working on it yesterday. I don't really know any html and css, so for anything beyond the basics, I'd need help. As for the userscript, I wouldn't be able to do that at all. I'll probably show it soon-ish, but no one should have any expectations for it. As for the actual sourcing of the galleries for the tags, that would have to be a community effort obviously.
