No shit he'd have the hat in the same position and copy the crosshatching in particular ways, that's how the art was intended for part 3 - or did the chiseled linework on the faces and shading (even done in the anime, which affords less detail than manga) not give that away?

Besides, that's irrelevant. We're not arguing his skill as an artist, but that he'd have these small details done right just means he had a good reference image of Jotaro in front of him as he was drawing. That in no way make him better than the rest.

Togashi drew some Narutos in a HxH volume too. He and Kishi must be pretty good friends because usually he doesn't bother drawing much for other mangaka, I think it's more than he's even drawn Sailor Moon.
