People still watch the Naruto anime?

I stopped pretty early in Shippuden because of the insane amount of filler. It wasn't even compelling filler, it was some of the boring shit put on TV. It was unwatchable, I can't believe they managed to retain an audience.

The first series had the decency at least put 99% of the filler after the main story. Considering the anime is only ending this long after the manga is finished, they must have padded the living shit out of the war arc with filler. I don't even want to imagine the amount of filler they have at this point.

Where as KvO was smooth and had somewhat graceful martial arts. I want this fight to be gritty. Naruto and Sasuke have no more to give but they keep fighting. They are exhausted and I want animation to reflect that
