The ancient gears are obviously shoved in to shill the structure deck, but Yuri failing to do much of anything until now I doubt has that much to do with Konami/NAS's terms. There's also plenty of anime cards that Konami doesn't bother to print at all.

And it seems likely too because Yuya can't switch from a PK deck to his own deck half way through the duel and it's not like Yuto's ghost is going to duel separately from Yuya so the only logical conclusion is that Yuto will gain his own body again through Ruri's bracelet. And that would explain the function of Ruri, Serena, and Rin's bracelets.

If Yuya and Yuri became fused, Serena's bracelet would defuse them.
If Yuya and Yugo synchronize like they did in the Synchro Dimension, then Rin's bracelet would snap them out of it.

The episode implies that a full on PK deck will be used, there's no way to reconcile that with the way Yuto dueled when he took over Yuya in 104. And the "REVIVED Phantom Knights" implies something else: Yuto will be revived. The only non-asspull way to separate Yuto and Yuya at this point is through Ruri's bracelet. After all, the bracelets are all meant to keep the Yuu's apart.

Can't say i'm happy about Yuri shilling ancient gears but it does make sense. Assuming that Leo's plans do not involve unleashing Hitotsu Ni then its in his best interests to avoid that happening. With all the 4 dragons in the same area, the best way to avoid them all being summoned at the same time is to make sure Yuri can't use Starve Venom. Ancient gears are all earth so making him duel with that deck under the guise of it being the honor student deck prevents all the dragons being able to be summoned simultaneously.

You know, I think the anons that say that Arc-V can't do character arcs worth a damn are for the most part right, even though I still kinda enjoy the series. The animation has also had way too much QUALITY. I like the setting, maybe the dimensions thing is too bound to arc-v's plot but I hope they can keep action fields and carding for future series. Also hwoever does the music needs to come back for next series, I've been listening to sound duel and the openings/eds and I've realized I really, really enjoy the music and it's probably a large part of why I still watch.

My fucking wacom would respond and started fucking up my pressure and the sensitivity so it looks like ass, not to mention my hand started hurting while trying to fix it so I couldnt draw something detailed like Temujin
