Grisha wasn't carrying anything when he arrived at the walls (except for the picture probably) so we can assume he wrote those journals when he was in the walls. Why would he do that? Did he predict all this shit happening with the warriors and Eren's titanization? If so, why wouldn't he try to stop it himself years ago or tell people the truth? I really hope Grisha explains himself in those books because I don't understand anything about him.

Depends on what you want. Mikasa or Levi are the best for raw damage, while Jean, Connie and Sasha are kind of mediocre in every way. Hanji and Erwin are basically Armin with an existing strenght stat.
