Did FGO ruin Fate? Am I the only one who stopped being an autistic

I definitely stopped giving a shit about Fate on /a/ and 4chan in general after F/GO because of all the secondaries and fanfiction-tier garbage in it. It started to get especially bad around when Apocrypha began, since that was the start of all these garbage light novels cropping up.

I still like the world and I'll buy Extella but I don't want any involvement in the community anymore.

Fate/GO has too much meaningless shit to keep track of and it's made worse by the fact that the game is legitimately bad. It's not that you stopped being a Fate faggot after Fate/GO, it's that Fate IS basically only Fate/GO at the moment.

The only reason I care about F/SN in the first place, and by extension F/Z is the study of JUSTICE after all.

I don't think it "ruins" Fate, since in my opinion, F/SN alone, at the end of the day, is a very complete experience, and I'm satisfied with it.

I care about F/Z, HA, and CP as an extension to F/SN, but I can't bring myself to care about Extra, or GO. I do read Prisma though, probably due to it being a manga, and therefore easier to consume.

You get much more out of the game if you can actually read all the dialogue.
Unfortunately maybe only 20% of /a/ can actually read moonrunes and probably much less can read it to a satisfactory degree.
What's left then is a sub par "mini game" when the story and fleshing out of servanta is supposed to be the main selling point. It's no wonder it's not that well received since you'd only be getting a third of the game if you can't read moon.

I started playing recently. It's kinda fun. Of course I have issues with it but it's whatever. Some of the new servants are cool, some aren't. Wish they would hire better fucking artists though. Some of the art is terrible and some of the designs aren't too hot either.

I'm not letting any dumb shit affect my opinion of the old material though.

Nobody pretended it wasn't. Masters might have been old designs, but we know the Servants were new because Arthur's design didn't match the one depicted for him way back in the first Character Material.
