Who gave a fuck about Julia? She just felt like an excuse to give the all too stoic spike a reason to get tilted. Character deaths have no meaning unless we know a little about them. She literally got introduced the episode before, and we are supposed to care? We didn't know how spike and her met, how the rivalry between him and vicious came to fruition, anything really. The show needed like two more episodes

You don't have to care about her death only understand its why spike is the way he is. It makes his end even more upsetting and pro tip, if an ending makes you feel some type of way and the show did it intentionally, it's good.
