I mean, the Pillar Men are hyped up in Part 2 as the ultimate threats far superior to vampires and vampires are basically canon fodder in Part 2, but Dio was much, much stronger than the average vampire, and none of the Pillar Men had Dio's ice abilities that worked so effectively agaisnt Hamon. Jonathan was much stronger physically than Joseph.
But then again, Joseph didn't beat them with strength, and Jonathan probably wouldn't be able to overpower someone like Wham physically.

Wham is a lot like Jonathan because Wham is sorta naive and intelectually curious and his fighting abilities are less of a result of dedicated training and more instinctual. He's the battle genius for a reason. His instincs do the fighting for him. And Jonathan is a lot like that too, he always pulls through with endless determination and sheer inability to lay down and die.

Of course, Jonathan would put it on himself to stop him because he endangers humans and he is a Ripple warrior, but honestly, with the kind of person Jonathan is, maybe he could actually convince Wham to turn agaisnt Kars. Maybe even help him find the Red Stone and allow him to live amongst humans without killing them while still getting strong people to fight him.

Jonathan has a natural ability to redeem people and bring out the best of anybody (except Dio) and Wham was already not as detached from morality like the other Pillar Men were. They could work something out.

It's the perfectionism aspect of OCD, or at least appears to be. I'll never be completely sure if it was Araki's intention of portraying him with it, but it would explain everything since Kira is a serial killer obsessively overun by his compulsions to kill people.

He does almost everything that would be in the psychology textbook under that spectrum; For example, the routine hording of his fingernails. Hording in general is an obsession long considered to be part of OCD is the inability to discard useless items, often being a specific object.
He also does "Checking" routines, which are often meticulously planned out daily schedules done out of anxiety and fear that something bad will happen if he doesn't follow through, like how he must make sure to go to sleep at exactly 11pm every night after drinking milk to ensure he lives a quiet life.
People with OCD also get intrusive thoughts, ones related to murder and violence aren't uncommon. Usually this is labeled "Harm impulses" but most people with OCD have fear and disgust about these actions, however it seems Kira was never disgusted by the thought of murdering someone since a young age.

Superstitious ideas about lucky/unlucky things is also a very common OCD trait, which ties into his belief of being unstoppable and having perfect luck only when his fingernails grow a specific length.

There's also Washing and cleaning, and how Kira needed to make sure Koichi didn't spill blood everywhere and offered him a napkin to clean up before planning to erase him. Repetition and Routine are also a key factor of OCD, which is something Kira does almost exclusively.

It seems he can't help himself at this point, organizing and making sure everything is symmetrical and in order is one of the most popular impulses that people with OCD have.

He must believe that perfect compulsive order to everything will keep him safe and lead to his dream of a Quiet Life.

DiU is my favorite part because it's the most consistent part.
Nothing in DiU reaches the highs of Metallica vs King Crimson, anything Pucci related, or the Valentine fight at the end of SBR, but at the same time DiU never drops to the lows of the first half of SDC, the Prison chapters in SO, or pre-Scary Monsters fights in SBR.

DiU is also the only part that I can reread the entirety of without getting bored. There isn't a single part that I think is bad, because even fights that are mediocre for DiU standards are still above average for series standards (Angelo, Surface, Ratt, RPS Kid.)
Plus it's the only main crew where I like absolutely everyone. (well, not counting crews that are 3 or less people like BT or SBR) Josuke is my favorite character in the series, Okuyasu is lovable and funny, Koichi is just good, Jotaro can make his badass shtick actually work due to his mentor role, and Rohan is Rohan.

I liked that a lot of characters in SBR got consistent focus even though they weren't in the main crew. Hot Pants, Lucy, Diego, even some minor villains like Wekapipo and Magenta lasted pretty long and got some neat development.
It's what really made me love the part.
