Rumor has it that the reason why all these relatively long serializations are ending is because of a change in the power balance in Jump itself.
Sasaki failed in creating another 3B and for this he was demoted and sent away. Their current mode of operation is to produce a ton of short serials keep throwing them at their readers in the hope that one will stick. Also they're not looking for another One Piece, or another Naruto. They want something they can serialize and then make into an anime and the anime will be popular enough to sustain itself on sales and other income. They want to maximize profits and reduce costs.

Jump does not cancel series that are more than a hundred chapter long. They give the author a 6 month warning to wrap things up neatly. One as old as and important as Bleach most definitely did not get only 6 months to wrap things up. Not when it has a fucking live action movie in the works. They would've wanted to continue it at least until the movie airs. This is 100% Kubo. He's a millionaire and can keep living off of royalties for the rest of his life if he wants to.

Kochikame ending is not going to effect sales of the magazine the same way AssClass did. Its very much the Japanese equivalent of Garfield which they kept for long either due cred or it was a favorite of the staff.

It's not stupid logic. Jump is ruthless, if a series doesn't gather as much popularity from the polls, they'll cancel it. Even if a series doesn't have enough for a Tankobon they'll cancel it without giving it a chance to prove its worth. If Black Clover wasn't popular, they would have canceled it and replaced it with another series, hoping that the new series would be more popular.
There's no way that "editorial interference" could allow a series to last 10 volumes without reader support.
