couple of things:

one, he fucked with josuke's family, and family is a big big thing in this entire series. it'd be like if dio went after holy in SC, his fate would have been far worse than just getting blown up. angelo did it and look where it got him. although he didn't kill tomoko, josuke still was pissed she was hurt and used as a card against him.

two, josuke was directly beaten, something which never happened at all before, to any jojo. i'm sure the humiliation he felt at having yuuya having to bail him out was infuriating.

third, I don't think josuke meant to put him in book prison. he saw that teru was vulnerable to his own ability and was probably curious what would happen if he went through with the thought, but didn't expect to give him the angelo treatment. seeing as there's not much to be done in the way of fixing him, josuke probably decided it was better off. the dude was bad news anyway and would have killed koichi, josuke, and jotaro given the chance.

There is literally nothing wrong with Milagro Man, we've had around 8 nonstop chapters of full plot reveals and a brilliant conclusion, a 2-chapter break that showcases more unique stuff of the setting of part 8 Morioh and actually gave Joshuu some likeability aren't bad chapters at all. They were worth it alone for his badass moments, funny antics and the hint of his development at the end that pretty much signifies that he's going to go a long way throughout the part.

2 chapters that work as a sort of break are perfectly fine, the story was interesting, Stand idea was pretty unique with a very nice design and the break prevents JoJolion from having the same problem part 5 did which was just nonstop battles with very little time to breathe and just enjoy the characters for what they were.

Hermit Purple is useful as fuck. Joseph didn't even have to break those cameras to take pictures. DIO just tapped it and he got them just fine.
It could solve a lot of scenarios in Part 3 if only Joseph actually used it and if Joseph was in his asspulling prime.
