I know how they fuck shit up. One thing Shaft just doesn't get is how every series should be takes as individual and given tailor-made direction so that it fits the original work the best. They copy paste the same exact directing style they have for Monogatari (which at this point is just a book of gimmicks) onto any other show no matter the original spirit of the source. Not even Monogatari has proper direction these days, it's always just a random cluttered background with a random cluttered foreground with a random gradient. If any characters are talking, do a close up to their face, a head tilt for no reason, or make them do uncanny faces from weird angles.
