What are some mangaka that got considerably better as their long running manga progressed? The opposite of Kubo or Kishimoto.
Rosario + Vampire is a prime example.
Oh great. Sui ishida. Araki. Oda. Etc. practically every mangaka
Pretty much ever mangaka that isn't exploited by WSJ gets better over time
>>146489333
what the fuck are you talking about, kubo got way better
>>146489333
>that got considerably better
I hope you mean by art only, because Hikaru no Go went to shit after Sai disappeared.
>>146489333
Shinobu Kaitani. My god Liar Game's art was beyond awful in the first few chapters.
Yoshikazu Hamada too. Not to mention he even redraws old scenes in Tsugumomo.
>>146489621
We have to go back
>>146489333
Watamote got better, but then again the mangakas thought that it would be axed during the first volume and they never bothered that much with it.
>>146489867
wouldn't say it got better, more that it got more realistic.
i don't read or watch this show, but afaik this change makes meaning because psychosis and all that
>>146489867
More realistic and better, but less cute.
Hiramoto Akira
Oda, Obata and Watsuki
>>146490187
Oda has always sucked
>>146489542
This. There's so much, that I'm trying to limit it to those who SIGNIFICANTLY got better.
>>146490300
And finally...
>>146490300
>That first one
Fuck. That's some inbred shit.
>>146490038
>less cute.
I'll fite you.
>>146489333
Are we talking about artstyle here?
If so, then Kubo absolutely improved his artstyle though.
>>146490329
>that bedroom look
D-did they...?
Miura
>>146490413
His artstyle peak at late Arrancar's arc. After that it went downhill with all the sameface shit.
>>146490413
Early Kubo wasn't that much worse IMO, but it definitely looks more messy, like there's no proper inking but just a bunch of lines.
>>146490300
From ayys to semen demons
the questio is which mangaka haven't change/improved
>>146490300
4th gen is the peak .
>>146489621
>progressed so far he eventually went backwards
I always found that interesting about araki style changes
>>146490688
Isayama.
>>146490688
Some weekly mangaka learn to draw more effectively and in their own established style over time, and that can make the art look boring. I'm thinking people like Toriyama, Kishimoto and Kazuki Takahashi.
>>146490300
It's pretty rare for artist from 80's to be able to adapt their artstyle to the more modern one. Very interesting
>>146490670
I will always hold LH dear to my heart as my first manga, but I always thought Akamatsu's art was sterile, no matter how it changed stylistically. It made too much sense when he showed in one of the volumes how the backgrounds were traced over CG, and his character art is pretty lifeless too. It has to be bad when his constant titties couldn't get my dick hard as a 12 year old (lack of nipples certainly didn't help).
>>146490670
someone left a window open and there is a strong draft across 2011
>>146490436
>Always thought that Keiichi was strange to be so chaste?
>The true: there is a reason.
>>146490935
I'm still mad about that shit.
>>146490733
He changed a lot though.
Hirano's development amazes me the most.
Say what you will about the story, bit the art went places.
>>146491301
That's a change in character design as much as a change in art. I liked the left better.
>>146491301
It doesn't even look like the same guy
>>146492236
its cause the one on the left is when hes an old man and the one on the right is when he's younger
>>146492040
the art went more moe
