I used to, but I got tired of it and couldn't even finish NT12. Something clicked and I realized Kamachi is just milking it and has been milking it for a long time. You're right, favoring newer girls over older ones is a typical thing to do in this fanbase, but the bandwagon power becomes too obvious when even several one-note new characters (not even a year or two old) are featured in a single list.

So what are Hamazura and Accelerator gonna do? I've got a feeling both are going to get dragged into the big mess Yuiitsu/WR/AAA has made. Here's my theory on what I think will happen but I would like to hear yours, too.

Yuiitsu takes Rikou to mess with AIM which in turn messes with Aleister. Might also have Mugino as a target as one of the lower level 5s but not as likely as Rikou

Either Crowley will fuck with the clones to do something about Yuiitsu and/or Mikoto and he'll get dragged in OR Mikoto using AAA affects the clones like Hyouka and Aiwass did and he'll finally trace the problem to AAA magic

I've said it once and I will say it again. I've got a feeling this series will end on a very similar tone that Harry Potter did, along with a near identical "19 years later" scene.

Here's what I mean by this:

Touma will probably unlock a lot of secrets right in the end and one of them will be the key to defeating the final boss. It'll likely be something only he can do.

Touma will probably win the fight mostly in one peice but not without a few sacrifices. One beloved "untouchable" character will die. Probably a few well liked but not untouchable characters die too.

The epilouge is a time skip where pairings are casually revealed and survivors are shown to have built a happy world despite the losses. Children will also be present in case Kamachi feels like doing stuff with them.
