Honestly between Claymore, Berserk and Ubell Blatt they each had their moments. Each suffered from hiatus, and poor long term planning of story.

Claymore went in a boring direction focusing on S2 new Claymores that didn't really amount to the plot, Berserk did a boat, Ubell has less glorious moments but is getting there.

I'd rank Claymore over Berserk for now just because all things must come to an end, and the author went for it.

Berserk is going to have an unsatisfying war with Guts infiltrating the enemy citadel, there isn't a lot of mystery left to it, just needs to get done.
