I don't really mind. They took liberties with each adaptation/sequel and I don't really care about character designs if it fits the movie and the movie itself is good.
Same with Death note adaptation. Japs took their chances with movies and I can't say I enjoyed them. So if the pale genius detective is changed into dindunothing, I won't really complain as long as it works for the overall movie and story. I can live without fanservice.

I'm getting simultaneously hype, and disappointed. I know this is going to be a miserable shit fest, but I'm still slightly excited my favourite franchise is getting a movie.
