Why did the series not just continue with the Japanese ghost busters thing from before soul society? Just watch the first anime intro, that intro is what I wanted the series to be and its not what I got. I liked the high schoolers, I liked the hollows, I liked the interesting but not overpowered side characters like don zerongo or whatever the black dudes name was. I also really liked the main cast who got pushed to the side, like Chad and the karate girl.

The thing about Gremmy is no one but Kenpachi could have beaten him. Only kenpachi's stubborn brutality and impressive strength could have messed with Gremmy enough that he imagined things he shouldn't have.

Any other captain would have gotten demolished solely cause they couldn't comprehend any way to fight him.

So, in my opinion, Kenpachi vs Gremmy was one of the decent fights this arc.

I think it would've been better had the series focused on Ichigo and his friends, with the shinigami being fewer (maybe 5-6 divisions with captains and sub-captain). Really if a ton of characters were cut out the series could have been better. The dragged out fights wouldn't have been as bad since there would be fewer, and less forgotten characters at the end.

Kubo couldn't figure out how to make Ichigo stronger without some heritage bullshit. They blatantly tell Ichigo that he doesn't understand Orihime's thoughts or feelings about being rescued, because we already knew she had intended to use her capture to her advantage and reject the hougyoku. For once his stupid "i have to protect eveyone" attitude wasn't actually the solution. That's it. That was all that line was. What got dropped was Ichigo having any kind of actual character development during the arc to coincide with his set up to actually come to terms with his hollow, which he didn't actually do.

Quincies lost the war against the sinigammi and went to hiding. Suddenlly one of then was god and raised to power of other 10 or so and now they all are stronger then captains.

Also, Squadron 0 did nothing when Aizen was going to turn a whole fucking city into a key to kill the shinigami king.

Kubo didn't write himself into a corner. It's clear Gremmy was written for Kenpachi to fight- he wasn't even around during the first invasion. Bleach. Because there were actual expectations. By the time Naruto hit its final two years, all hope was lost and I just waited for it to end. The final arc was more like a roler coaster. It had some good moments and also some bad moments, but the ending was just bad. The final chapter was okay, but that it was horribly rushed and all the questions were unanswered. And no one can be hundred percent sure, who is at fault. This arc had the potential to be extremely amazing, but in the end it was just average or slightly above average.

What was the deal with the Soul King? He was a major plot device in the final arc but noting was ever explained. Perniida being one of his arms didn't help.

Also, that Sniper sternritter turning into a fucking bird to then later fight Zombie Kira. What was that?

That last arc got way out of hand with the overpowered enemies. Any one of them seems as if they could've taken out Ichigo without too much trouble.
