Trainwreck is when is show is obviously bad, but you keep watching each week to see how bad it can be. It's often tied to the amount of hype/advertisement the show had prior its broadcast. That's why Aldnoah is a prime example of trainwreck while Comet Lucifer is not.

On the other hand we have the "so bad it's good" category, which is shows that you know they're bad, you accept it and ironically enjoy it as a time waster. Most of LN shit fall in that category.
