Miyata Kouji died around 8 months ago, at the age of 34 from a brain aneurysm. Apparently he had high blood pressure and was working himself too hard. Just when he was starting to get recognized too.

Artist of Shoujo Nemu died young and didn't do much despite his talent.
Kouji Miyata died last year at 35.
Author of Muteki Kanban Musume killed himself a few years ago, which is pretty disturbing and sad for a comedy mangaka.

Nekojiru.
She had issues and killed herself.
It shows in the manga.
It's also kind of beautiful.

There won't be an ending of Berserk. He started in the 80's and still hasn't resolved Casca's retardation or even built up to a final battle with Griffith. We're seeing a lot of shitty anime adaptations though, and videogames and figures. 1 chapter per year, though.

Meanwhile, Hajime no Ippo chapter 1150 is coming out next week.

Inugamihime was an interesting series. It's a shame we didn't get past volume 3. It had an old school vibe to it, like ghost sweeper mikami. Something like that would've eventually gotten an anime adaptation
