It's more grounded in a feasible setting than the early parts of the series would have you believe. The character interactions all make sense, and the show starts really making use of it's Groundhog day mechanics to great effect. You'll cringe for Subaru, but it's honestly kinda fun watching this asshole bash his head against a brick wall and get nowhere.
