I haven't picked up any new hobbies since I started watching anime/reading manga apart from getting more fit, and I started doing that because I was (and still am to a lesser degree) out of shape. I'm already happy with the things I do in my spare time. Cooking is great OP, I love it.

Never started a hobby properly, but have been inspired to train flexibility for a few weeks after watching Kaleido Star, Love Live and Princess Tutu. Always quickly gave up though.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica made me interested in Dance Dance Revolution. Actually spent some time practicing to youtube, and also visit a place with a machine sometimes to see if they've repaired it yet.

I started cooking after watching Sanji in a filler arc in One Piece.

Befor I saw that episode and started cooking, I was an extremely picky eater, and the very act of eating or seeing someone eat made nauseous. I'm pretty sure my parents didn't expect me to live to adulthood

Boku no Pico has helped me to take an interest in same sex relationships. My entire view of love has changed after watching it, even to the point of realizing I myself was stuck in the closet. I now preach about homosexuality being nothing to be afraid about, and encourage those afraid of letting the world know, that they are not alone.
