The point is that Toriyama threw the Bardock TV Special (and Episode Of Bardock) out of the continuity even BEFORE Dragonball Minus was published.

In the TV Special Bardock doesn't remember Gine at all and goes to a tavern to ask some strangers for help.

In the TV Special Bardock has a power level of 10,000 which makes him more powerful than Nappa (an elite warrior) but Toriyama himself said that Bardock lived and died as a low-class warrior.

In the TV Special kid Goku has a power level of 2. Toriyama obviously doesn't agree. I don't see how a kid with a PL of 2, even if he is a saiyan, could give any trouble to an experienced martial artist like Grandpa Gohan.

Bardock having a wife who he loves so much already made the TV Special (and EoB) completely non-canon before Toriyama wrote DB Minus.

The sheer volume of recolours coming in and how intrinsic they are to moving the plot along is fucking pathetic and so are you for trying to justify any of it.
