Except that's wrong, because wars have been waged directly because of of the concept of "God" and the countless different interpretations of that concept. In the Abrahamic versions, the texts of the Bible and Quaran have never depicted God as an unambiguously benevolent entity; in fact, it can be argued that he is rather malevolent, which is why conflicts have transpired in his name.
