I liked how GT brought back the Saiyan elements. The Tuffles, Baby, Black Star Dragon Balls, SSj4. All well thought out concepts that were just ruined with no direction.

SSj4 didn't feel like the step up from SSj3, hell has Goku struggling with a building. And I am aware it acknowledges SSj4 is something different all together, but it should still feel like a power up, not a power down.

But Super is actually watchable and recognizable as Toriyama's work.

Ever since the Future Trunks Arc, /a/ has been loving it, Black is an interesting villain, a relationship with two unexpected characters that works entirely too well, a jarring darker tone than the rest of the series, meaningful sol moments, and a intriguing story that doesn't reveal to much.

Every filler in the Future Trunks Arc encounter is one the fans have wanted and asked for, and it provides and nice way to show the growth of other characters.

Hating on super was appropriate the first two seasons because it was something we had already seen in two hours, dragged out for an entire arc, and the animations was horrible so there was literally no reason to watch Super.

But ever since the U6 arc it has been growing into its own, with legitimately clever and subtle foreshadowing.

Super has flaws, but to sit in front of a keyboard and say
