Is there a better WMT than Anne, /a/? I've only seen Anne, Romeo, Reimi, and Heidi.
You can try Swiss Family Robinson: Flone of the Mysterious Island. It's really good.
But yeah Anne is best.

No, it's probably the top of the genre.
But you should still watch Marco, Sara, Flo, Annette, Tom, Little Women, Treasure Island and others.

MAybe not as good as Anne, but I found My Daddy Long Legs to be very charming and endearing.

The one I remember the most is 3000 leagues in search of mother (AKA marco / heart).
Good shit, WMT. Normalfags who grew up in the 90's know these series well, since the dubs made up a good portion of children's programming on broadcast TV back then.
It's even experiencing a resurgence since these normalfags are now raising children and want to raise them on these series as well.
The ending would've made me mad if I didn't know from the books she eventually is able to go to college desu.
>tfw no one animates classics anymore
I mean, Frozen was good, but it's got almost nothing to do with Andersen's book.
What was your first impression when you heard Anne's seiyuu for the first time?

Wait, you mean Anne of Green Gables? I didn't know this shit existed, how does it compare to the books?

This is Disney SOP. They take a lot of artistic license.

I liked 3000 leagues a little better than Anne. Mostly it's that it has gorgeous backgrounds and layouts from Italy to Argentina and Miyazaki for the whole series instead of the Lake of Shining Waters many many times, the stories of the new people at every stop, more social subjects/details for adult viewers and that Marco isn't as increasingly perfect. Anne sure is good at what it does though.

A few eps should convince you, Japan loves it as much as Ghibli.
Princess sara is the best followed by remi and les mis.
Heidi
