Get off my chair and pace around the house for a solid 20 minutes reliving the climaxes of the show and reflecting on the central themes, maybe imagining myself in those situations presented in the show, followed by looking up related material (doujins, reviews, spin offs, ect) the rest of the day. If the show hit my feels but I haven't cried yet, then I cry.

Is the episode 8 the one when the punks, the suits, and the cult started fighting ?

Well.
It depends if I enjoyed it or not. If it's one of those really good ones I just sit back and say to myself "wow"
Then I fall asleep. An example would be Steins;Gate. When I finished that I was so mindblasted I kind of just laid down for a few days. I didn't do anything, not even watch anime.

First I make a turkey and swiss sandwich, no tomato because that gets a bit messy if you leave it out too long. Then I take off everything but my socks, because socks are comfy and that matters. Then I start fingering my butthole. Not much, just enough to get it started. After that comes the bottle of nasal spray, and once you work that in I'm pretty sure the rest of the story is common sense. By the time I'm done I'll really want that sandwich, and I'm usually glad that I left off the tomato so I don't have a disgusting gelatinized bottom slice of bread.

Inuyasha (specifically the final act).

It's the show that got me into anime and had been a part of my life since I first came across it on late night Bionix. I'd occasionally re-watch the show and the movies over the years. When it finally actually came to a full conclusion it felt like a chapter of my life was over.

Hit the archives and lurk through threads that I've missed. It eases the pain but live threads are so much more fun.
More times then not, however, i come across threads for a show I've finished within a day or two which is excellent.

Of course, if the story continues in a manga then I'll be reading that up next. I'm not too big on LNs just yet, but I don't doubt I'll eventually start them one day.

If it was a particularly good series then i often find myself downloading and bingeing more or the same genre.
