I don't know, the salaryman didn't seem very relatable or likeable at all, quite the opposite. He's extremely career-driven and apparently a complete psychopath to boot, not a character some greasy otaku would, or could, identify with. He never changes his ways, not when he meets god, not when he's reborn as a little girl. All the shit he's in is his own fault, but he's too single-minded to realize this and just keeps pushing further.

So while it's isekai, it's not the cookie-cutter wish-fulfillment type where some shitty NEET ends up in a fantasy world and gets a harem just for existing. Frankly it seems interesting because judging by the tone, the main character could end up dead in a ditch at any time and it wouldn't surprise me.
