Yuya,Yuzu,Gon and Sawatari will either be chased by the rest of academia after they realize they still have a job to do and Serena will come and tell them to get on this boat so they can go stop Leoman and then she reveals she's brainwashed. luring people into a trap doesn't sound like something Serena would do on her own, she's gung ho like Bullet, so it has to be brainwashing. So she'll either jump onto another boat driven by Barret and go towards Academia island while leaving Captain Hook to deal with the codfishes alone thinking the lancers are through or she'll actually witness the duel and once Yuya starts with Solo, Yuzu will start with Serena and together they'll defeat them both in an egao induced duel that breaks the brainwashing on Serena and makes Solo turn heel and flat out drive them to academia with no issues.

Crow was surprisingly alright. Jack had a purpose for Yuuya's development. Asuka had her moment. Edo was pretty much the only one in the rushed XYZ arc that had a believable conversion to EGAO.

Edo being converted wasn't believable. Him liking egao after 1 duel and then betraying the professor is dumb. Especially when he believed that the Project was still good. He knew that people could be uncarded and felt that it was noble in bringing the dimensions together. Him being converted the way he was means he totally disregards all of that and the professor. If he was truly doubting himself he could be heading to the Professor to talk to him instead of playing babysitter. Then he gave that shitty speech at the end that converted all those soldiers. That speech didn't even make sense. He didn't even apologize to any of the Xyz Dimension citizens after changing sides. He just led Yuya and co to headquarters. It was all messy.
