People that like it give it way too much praise and those who hate it probably only saw like 5 episodes. While I enjoyed it the first time I've watched it, the fans and the threads about it left a bad taste. I know that's a stupid reason to dislike it but it got to the point where simply mentioning it on threads irrelevant to it becomes the ultra shitpost bait. If it wasn't Tomino or a Gundam series, I doubt people would still talk about it as much.
