Where are all of my homo bros at?
Anyone else watching Scared Rider Xechs? So much tension between MC and his childhood bro. Also there's a bit of extra terrestrial mumbo jumbo that could make the MC/Bro partnership a full blown foursome.
It's so nice having Denka back on.
I'm in your boat. Only one anime based on an otome ever made me not regret watching it, webm related. I don't want to get burned again.
>People find thsi attractive
I don't understand. Do you guys really watch otome (and I've also seen some people here discuss harem anime too) even though you know for a fact that the guys are 100% straight and are lusting after the girl? Like, why?
Why aren't homodachis watching this? Yesterday thread was a graveyard.
Power dynamics are a really big thing in BL, and rape is shorthand for X>Y in fucking form
Also, in case you hand't noticed, most female-targeted media includes copious and gratuitous sexual violence. It's just a thing.
It's been decided that Cheer Boys is actually CBDCT.
Because every now and again, an adaptation from an otome changes so much it bears little to no resemblace to the game on which it was based. Stride was a good anime based off a shitty otome because it reduced the girl to being literally irrelevant and focused strictly on the racing and the boys, hence it's not otome.
Watched the first episode and it was kinda bad, though I will still give it the 3 episodes rule, maybe it will give me my dose of JUSTICE
How come Megane's knees didn't explode after carrying Fatty?
How do you feel about the new Digishotas, /time/?
>even though you know for a fact that the guys are 100% straight and are lusting after the girl?
I don't see why anybody would give a fuck about this when there are almost no actual homos in anime so the situation is usually the same whether you're watching otomeshit or anything else, but even ignoring that, bisexuality is a thing.
That said, I don't watch otomeshit anyway because it's usually just bad.
Much like >>144128907 , I like to watch otome for the cute guys themselves and not for shipping them. Though it IS pretty disappointing when a show isn't even otome but the cute guys still lust after women. (Recently, Bungou stray dogs and kiznaiver fall under this.)
>Still no decent porn of them
This actually looks better than Super Blue Balls and that other one with the crossdessing faggot, maybe I'll check it.
>Dat first post
I don't even understand why he is so mad, to be honest.
>How can someone be so mad over some silly BL manga adaptation?
Fujo stuff trigger Otaku in a special why.
Personally, I don't watch otome series, because I don't find it favourable.
I am inclined to watch shojo/josei series because I find it palatable.
Harem series is debatable. Hikigaya is questionably bisexual, he had internalize fantasies regarding Saika and Hayato. With the latter, he thought about going on a Library date with him before shaking the thought off.
Servamp is just a generic action series aimed at teenage girls, as far as I can tell, but I appreciate the cute boys.
So far there's no sign of any female love interests. Just dudes conveniently being paired with vampire partners through magical contracts (Though apparently there's a female vampire too) and one of MC's 3 normal friends has homolust potential as well.
>anime are only worth watching if they pander to my homo delusions
Not that I'm saying otomeshit is worth watching, but people might be into it for the boys in general, not for shipping reasons. That goes for pretty much anything.
I read Hitorijime Boyfriend a couple years ago and it was generic BL with no outstanding qualities. Is My Hero any different?
If anything I'd kill to see Kii Kanna's style animated, doesn't even have to be Etranger. If done correctly it would be extremely pretty.
These new outfits are SHIT.
They're not even trying to hide it.
>BL anime with teacher/delinquent
This sounds almost too good to be true, someone pinch me. If Super Lovers and whatever other otoge anime keep opening doors for more homo anime possibilities like this I might just actually cry.
Ai no Kusabi remake revival fucking WHEN
They even tell you who are the pairs and who are mum and dads in the team.
God these boys are in another level of cute.
>cultivate a friendship
Baby. Rui is already pregnant.
Kazu is an angel.
>My Denka is pure.
>He still hasn't realized Arslan is LITERALLY a gay harem
He's probably having gay orgies every nigh.
A shame Brain Base has no budget.
This man bumps into you and offers you pills.
Do they just de age you by 10 years, or do they de age you to an age that can be programmed in to the pill? If it's just a flat 10 years, I'd be pretty worried about taking them.
>Once you go into "every anime with a male mc and a huge cast of boys is a gay harem" mode, it's the end.
Like, you are watching Kurokok and you suddenly start thinking every boy wants the MC dick.
Brain Base is basically the new JC Staff/Gainax, every talent left and went into another studio.
Shuka got most of their people, which why you got a new Natsume/Durarara from them and an anime with Baccano! seting.
Tama went full fujo in the last chapters, she ain't even trying to hide it anymore.
>you will never ease Angelo's suffering
Bozu to kumo. Not even a troll suggestion, I just want to spread the monster boy BL.
>giving actual recommendations to some shitposting faggot
I didn't know this.
As a huge fan of Natsume, I need to know if this studio is worth. I'm really worried it won't have the same atmosphere or something, they better make it right.
The studio was founded by the director of Durarara, Baccano and Natsume Yuujinchou, so he'll probably direct the fifth season, too. Shuka has only done the Durarara sequels and 91 Days so far. Durarara!!x2 had awful animation, but the first episode of 91 Days looked fine, so who knows what Natsume S5 will be like.
He reminds me of Biscuit, who was a great chubby.
But isn't bara mostly used by westeners to describe a body type? Basically anything that's not a skinny bishounen, so not necessarily gross and fat. Isn't that accurate still?
I'm following a couple of titles, I'd read more if:
-there actually was something worth reading and not the usual romance that's been done 1000 times
-releases weren't so irregular and unreliable
>-there actually was something worth reading and not the usual romance that's been done 1000 times
There is, you just don't know because you don't read much.
Although the releases thing is true.
>oh boy, a book that's been completed in Japan, surely it will be fully translated in a timely manner
I like to post about BL manga in these threads occasionally. Albeit they rarely start up conversations about the topic.
I believe we all can assume most people here are animeonly and/or shippers.
Where do I kidnap a papa like him?
There isn't really that much to discuss, I guess. Since most BL is short, and unless you hate yourself you'll choose to read the ones that are already finished, there isn't a lot to talk about. You can't give recommendations either, since that's not allowed.
This BL manga talk reminded me to finally check for updates on yoru to asa. Harada's artstyle is definitely one of my favourites out of the BL I've read.
>You can't give recommendations either, since that's not allowed
What's not allowed is to make blatant rec threads, asking for recs in-thread that might spark discussion is perfectly acceptable.
Most of the characters here are left up to interpretation. Assuming they're straight just because the author doesn't explicitly say that they're gay is stupid and delusional.
Sounds like another Kurata case. If the character does gay things in-universe, then they're gay. What the author says outside of the story has no more bearing than a fan's interpretation.
Yes, they do, and it's still incorrect to do so. The reason gay artists avoid the term "bara" is because it's a derogatory slur, something like "queen" or "pansy." It's not something you want to be called. If you see a man that's muscular, fat, or anything in-between, describe him as such. Do not call him "a bara."
It's less stupid and delusional than assuming they're gay. There are more straight people than there are gay people both in fiction and real life. That's just how it is.
Also there are plenty of confirmed straight guys who are cute as hell so you're wrong regardless. Pic related, extraordinarily cute boy on his wedding day.
I want doujins of Beetlejuice and Subaru while being mindbroken even more.
You can smell the tumblr from here. They make it so obvious, it's like that one case of
why isn't there a gay shonen MCthat was a shitstorm.
But that's what they implied.
I did read that and liked it, so I'm looking forward to the sequel.
Only other Harada I've read is Color Recipe but the ending is pretty shit so far. MC doesn't deserve that.
Are any other of their works like Yatamomo?
>if you don't assume a character has one fixed sexuality, you must assume they have another one instead of just accepting that there's no clear answer
This isn't a complicated distinction.
I want to discuss my cute anime boys with other boys!
This. We wouldn't be having these discussions if everyone here was just a homo who liked homo anime. Straight guys and fujos ruin these threads with their obsession towards turning every character straight in their headcanon.
Straight boys are a myth anyway, 2D cock is too delicious.
>why isn't there a gay shonen MC
You really think that was a fujo? The ones getting upset over not having real homos in and boys being strait are actual faggots that feel bad because they can't relate.
Fujoshi don't give a crap about any of those, we've never had this problem until these newshits came in.
It's not really a matter of not seeing it coming. It's more like Kudelia turned out to be an unrepentant piece of garbage in terms of characterization.
They were always going to ship her with Mika no matter how stupid and insipid the very concept of the pairing is, but the least they could've done was make her as an individual worth the audience's while. They didn't, of course.
That's what I call a headcanon.
In your mind character X may be gay, but I'm sure 90% of the viewers/readers don't agree with you.
Fiction is fiction but it is based on some elements of real life. Unless the setting is some fantasy world where everyone is bisexual, I'm just going to assume things work like in real life.
Because they're women. The same reason they like otomeshit. Fujos have never had anything against straight characters, in fact they irrationally push for it pretty frequently as seen in this thread.
They irrationally get upset at people for talking about cute boys that we like to imagine as homos (like Mika and Yuu) for some reason.
This is actually pretty cute, I had never read something with a monster by before.
This, assuming that you mean normal is gay. Everyone here surely knows that heterosexuality is a mental illness and only brain damage could cause somebody to want a hideous woman in their life.
I had no idea yatamomo had a sequel. That sure made my evening.
I guess it makes them feel left out or something. It'd be nice if the homo thread was actually filled with homos talking about homos, instead of being filled with these horrible harpies that swoop down and screech at anybody trying to talk about cute gay characters.
I don't know why, anon. Hence why it's irrational. Maybe they want to self insert so they get upset when people start talking about how gay a character is. That's my theory.
You saw the shitstorm, especially related to whenever anyone even suggested Mika and Yuu were gay.
>Unless the setting is some fantasy world where everyone is bisexual,
Is it really a fantasy world if there actually is a series that fits this description?
How do you like girly-boys?
I agree with you, anon. These threads are nothing but women and straight men who are confused about their feelings towards 2d boys. Any time an actual homo shows up and wants to talk about homo characters they have a complete fit. I these threads are past the point of saving from straight scum.
How could you not know?
One is the retards who cry about characters not being actual homosexuals, strait boys, call everybody who disagrees fujos/tumblr, and throws bitch fits when you tell them they're being unreasonable.
And then there's the rest of the thread who doesn't give a fuck and just wants to discuss cute boys alone and in pairs.
Where can I start downloading songs from Tsukiuta?
Yeah, it reminds me of how much I miss Orenchi no furo jijou, even though that one isn't actually BL. I just really like monster boys and I wish there were more of them.
I found this one again. It's called "Ore no Doukyuusei ga Binkan sugite Yabai".
I don't really care about everybody's fanbase wars or whatever, but Mika seems pretty unambiguously gay. Yuu strikes me as bi. That's just like, my opinion though, man. I'm open to whatever anybody else thinks.
I need to get caught up on the manga. It's been a long-ass time.
He is indeed an angel.
I'm really liking this show so far, it's pretty comfy. Kind of homo as well.
What I probably like about it it's that it doesn't have an annoying girl character like B Project. That and that I love idolshit.
People here get upset:
1-when you talk about a pairing that's not been confirmed canon as if it were canon
2-when you say a character is 100% gay even though it's not been confirmed/the author says otherwise
I get it, you'd like the homothread to be the safe haven where you can gush and fangirl about your favorite boys being homo and in love, but face it, this isn't that kind of place. There will always be people here who think that "delusional" fangirling is annoying and scoff at headcanons.
Neither side is going anywhere.
Every time you bring this argument up you are just inviting shitstorms, at this point it's better not to talk about it altogether.
>when you talk about a pairing that's not been confirmed canon as if it were canon
You don't even have to go that far to get people upset, though. Even in this thread you had people losing their shit just because somebody said "it's ambiguous either way". That steps beyond disliking fangirlish attitudes and goes straight into actual bigotry.
Speacking of shotas, anyone remember the name of that series about the children living together that became a threesome as they grow up?
It was a spin off of a series and they lived in an orphanage or some shit.
Zesty shitposters please go back to your own threads.
Seriously next time just don't reply. I'm assuming this is enough for everybody to realize who they are and what their posting style is like.
So when you see retards being retarded, crying about lack of real gay, and muh fujos this fujos that, just report. Ignore and report.
Both sides take this shit way too seriously and it makes no sense. You can say shit like "I bet Hei deepthroats like a champ" and nobody gives a fuck about that technically being delusional or headcanon, but "I want Toriyasu to blow Pink Goddess' faggot boypussy wide open" will invite a shitstorm because calling a faggot a faggot when his faggotry is unconfirmed is apparently a big deal.
Why does it matter if it's delusional? Conversely, why does anyone care about being called delusional? We're all a bunch of ugly disgusting autismos lusting over 2D at the end of the day, who gives a shit?
How is it possible that we have two psychic boys that are so husbando material in the same season?
Indeed you are right.
>v.4 c.3 by Bunny's Scanlations (97d ago)
Deneb is Best Boy
>Seriously next time just don't reply. I'm assuming this is enough for everybody to realize who they are and what their posting style is like.
>So when you see retards being retarded, crying about lack of real gay, and muh fujos this fujos that, just report. Ignore and report.
This. It's obvious where they're from and they don't belong here.
These threads contain more of tumblr's worst traits than tumblr does. This is a literal fujo hugbox of the worst kind. You stupid hags can't even stay on topic or control yourselves from writing outraged responses at the one or two actual homos that show up from time to time.
Slutty, slutty penisbones are the most important issue facing anons today.
Just lucky I guess.
Is there even other recent BL that comes close to Canis' quality?
>that paneling and composition
>that story that's actually tries to be interesting beyond the romance between the two mains
I'd honestly recommend it to people who aren't usually into BL.
No, what's a big deal is acting like a retard and throwing bitch fits when other people tell you to stop. Look at the post that lead to this.
>Most of the characters here are left up to interpretation. Assuming they're straight just because the author doesn't explicitly say that they're gay is stupid and delusional.
Retard says something retarded, people tell him he's being retarded, they get upset and throw a bitch fit that derails the thread.
You can say what you like as long as you don't act like an immature little kid about it. Nobody cares as long as you don't shitpost about it.
Nah, some people get triggered if you call PG a fag because he said he was only staying if Soy Latte stayed. These are the same people who still haven't figured out that if PG is the only person taking care of the village idiots, then he's essentially in the same position he was that made him want to leave society.
That poster was being completely rational though. The people responding to them in an outraged manner were the insane and immature ones. Did you even think about what you were writing? Because you look like a fucking crazy person.
Your post confirms that you and everyone like you is the problem here. The quote you're so upset about is absolutely correct. As long as it's ambiguous it's up to interpretation and you have no reason or right to lose your shit over the way somebody else interprets a story.
>you have no reason or right to lose your shit over the way somebody else interprets a story.
That applies to people thinking they're gay and lose their shit when people disagree then too.
Because most of the characters here aren't actually left to interpretation. The non-delusional thing would be to assume they're normal. It actually isn't as vague as they claim.
But the problem isn't even the claim, it's that they start shit and cause derails when others don't agree with them.
I don't think there's anything wrong with it either. I wouldn't call it stupid or delusional to think a character is probably straight, but unconfirmed is unconfirmed no matter which way you spin it.
The "stupid and delusional" part is what started the shitstorm.
Is anon had only written
>Most of the characters here are left up to interpretation. They're not necessarily straight just because the author doesn't explicitly say that they're gay
we would have had 50 less shitposts by now.
We've discussed real homos a million fucking times perfectly fine before your little group came in. You're the ones starting shit. Everybody who isn't a complete newshit like you knows this, I don't know who you're trying to trick.
Okay, like who? Ambiguous relationships don't make it neither gay nor straight. I don't want to sound like those "muh not real gays" retards but seriously, like fucking who?
That's otomefag behaviour.
PG joined because he was empty inside after not taking care of his parents anymore and also wanted somewhat carefree life. We dont really know if "having" to take care of his parents was his nanaki. In the end we know he's determined and "found his calling" in taking care of people along Soy Latte
Shotas with big cocks are my thing. I don't care about the girls, but I love the face they make when they pull down the pants and the embarrassed kid reveals a huge piece of meat.
I assumed they were full of shit. The only gay characters you can reasonably talk about here are the ones that sometimes turn up in BL manga, and we all know nobody discusses those anymore.
Will you please stop?
I understand that you're upset that not everyone can be as gay as you and that all faggots should come out but you really need to stop projecting your 3d issues here and shitting up the thread every time this topic comes up?
He had to take care of his parents full time and flat-out said he wanted to live a carefree life from now on. It's not exactly hard to infer that being a caretaker was draining for him, and that relocating to Nanaki was supposed to help him live for himself.
>In the end we know he's determined and "found his calling" in taking care of people along Soy Latte
Where exactly is this stated?
I don't mind discussing straight characters, but this thread is getting too straight for me, kazoku
At least I should be thankful that nobody is going to cause shitstorms with cute boys from BL.
Pardon me, anons, but it appears that I have stepped into the wrong thread.
I'm sure people can find a way.
Blue a best.
Anyone who has a problem with Battle Lovers gets the axe.
Nice to see Ni-san us still managing to avoid chopping some people.
Okay, but why do you keep bringing this up when it has nothing to do with anything? I never denied that. It's not exactly an unusual reaction to losing both parents before the age of 30, man.
Maybe they'll be entertaining.
He sure is.
I'm pretty interested to see what their deal will be.
>aniki will never give you an enema
I wanna know what's up with them and their green squirrel, since Zundar and Shiraishi are no longer active but Wombat still mentioned a "season 2"
You do realize that a person can feel resentful of having to be a full time caretaker while at the same time loving the people they take care of, right? Taking care of another person is hard, tiring, and emotionally trying no matter how much you cherish them.
>Wright Staff Co. Ltd., a group of writers which includes Arslan Senki author Tanaka Yoshiki, revised its guidelines for derivative works on Monday, April 13th 2015.
>Prior to Monday’s revisions, a specific clause in the group’s guidelines for derivative works (i.e., doujinshi and fanart) prohibited any expression of homosexuality. The guidelines received public backlash and were portrayed as being anti-BL and anti-fujoshi.
>They have now been revised so that “extreme sexual depictions” (heterosexual, homosexual, or otherwise) are prohibited, but not expressions of homosexuality.
>He also acknowledged that the guidelines are more so requests to fans than hard rules.
Sooner of later some hopefully not retarded laws that regulate what you can and can't do with derivative works are going to pop up.
This shit is becoming way too frequent, just look at the Star Trek mess for a western example.
>comparing something from the west to japan
The only shit you have to worry about is censorship rules. Everything else is non-official and irrelevant, even more so concerning things that happen overseas.
Corteo is so going to die.
Christ, what's his problem? As an author he should just be glad people enjoy his works enough to devote their time to creating fan works. He doesn't have to like what people do, but shouldn't the sentiment mean something to him?
Hard to believe he wrote a character as chill as Yang.
Of course i do but if taking care of someone goes against the carefree life then why would he stay at Nanakimura and not leave?
So for him to stay he doesnt mind taking care of people.
And we dont even know he will take care of people for sure, only that along with Soy Latte he was the only person helping the drowsy ones and that he based his decisions on her staying.
I mean SoyGoddess was my wild OTP from the start but this whole argument is stupid, it's not about shipping. If he's free why would he trap himself in the situation he wanted to escape from?
Do you have something against cute boys anon?
Why are people so obsessed over this non-character.
Just fap to Hayato like the rest of us fags, jesus.
Did you know that Rom is the best? Because apparently, Rom is the best.
That's what edgehoglet says about Rom.
And if he says that Rom is the best, then there's a high chance that Rom really might be the best.
I wonder how gay the Trichronika-short episode will be.
Were you not following the conversation here? The point is that it makes sense for PG to stay if Soy Latte does because she's the only one he can rely on. It's not hard and fast proof that he has a thing for her, but rather confirmation that he doesn't want to be stuck taking care of people alone again.
>I wonder how gay the Trichronika-short episode will be.
It better be plenty gay,
I don't think anyone on the staff got the note, though.
I hate to sound like a retardo from tumblr, but he's basically an homophobe old man.
Probably in the closet, given by how much homoeroticism his works have.
I don't understand how people can like Mayoiga, even less give a fuck about its characters. They're all so bland and uninteresting, both design and personality wise.
Too similar to real 3DPD.
I hope the fujos on Pixiv jump on it. Angelo is probably crazy in bed.
I like Hayato but never fapped to him before.
What do you guys think about when doing it?
Wouldn't be the first time.
Some authors get offended or are extremely possessive of their work is all.
Take Anne McCaffrey for example:
>The rules are that my characters may be referred to but not used. BUT there can be no adventure/stories set on Pern at all!!!!! That's infringing on my copyright and can bear heavy penalties - particularly right now when there's a film deal (yet another) which has bought and paid for the right to use the material - which, I fear, e-mail users have not
Bear in mind that she is a successful published author, just like Tanaka Yoshiki.
But there's only two shorts out so far.
The term predates tumblr by many many years, you don't have to worry about sounding like one of them.
I wouldn't be surprised if he's closeted. I don't know how you can accidentally write something as gay as Reinhard and Kircheis.
>Angelo is probably crazy in bed
I hadn't thought about this at all, thank you.
I can't fap to Hayato. He belongs to Mitsumune and his love is pure.
I want them to be a thing. It'd be a deliciously abusive relationship.
Maybe they think the idea of their original characters fucking each other is disgusting. Or maybe they don't want anyone to sexualize their characters because it's a manga that's also read by younger kids. I don't think this is the first time it happens. I understand the need to impose a limit on degeneracy if they can. Some of the content in derivate works can be very extreme, artistic freedom needs a bit of Jesus.
