Most media, including "highly praised, mature" western drama, is fucking trash that is aimed at people who think they are smart, but in reality are barely above average, if not average to begin with.

Example: Game of Thrones has mostly "older" characters, and it's probably the most childish shit I've seen in years. Being mostly aimed at "mature minded" normalfags, who really don't understand that gore, killing people , sex and some shitty "conflict" =/= mature writing. The latest two seasons are liberalized fanfiction with "shock" value every 2-3 episodes to "surprise" the user. Unexpectedly killing people basically became expected. What a fucking joke of a show. I do not understand how it became more popular in the last two seasons, which are by far the worst.
