I hard this show was either love it or hate it.
I'm on Episode 5 and it's prettycomfy.
Sure a lot of the animation didn't age well and the whole premise has been played out since, but I really don't get why there's so many vocal haters.
The OST is sex

Does this mean anything or is it a vapid justification for watching shitty anime?

After I got past the insufferable first episode I fell in love with the show. /SIGN is a fucking masterpiece.

Well, either people don't like how slow and character-focused it is, or it's due to the extreme lack of action despite the setting.
>"Look in my face when I talk to you, shit-heel!"
What did she mean by this?

This.
It's almost like if Terrence Malick directed an anime
>>143578653
>"this anime causes me to experience positive emotions therefore i like it"
I know you aren't capable of these things so you can't really relate, but please try to understand.

I think The World is supposed to be a kinda Second Life type deal where there's no inherent objective.
Like SL, the players mostly police their own and make their own rules and everything from the ground up which is why everything gets so fucky.
The one glaring issue was thatthey didn't do a can crush for Jay Owen
