I'm actually pretty fine with this if it's the case, I want as much Illya as possible and if they go all the way to just before the flashbacks it's unlikely there will be a new season next year, so splitting it into 2 seasons would be better.

I am not entirely sure they will do that though, i mean why would they make it 12 episodes instead of 10 if they only wanted to adapt the first 12 chapters, even with some fillers i have a hard time seeing them doing that unless the first few episodes are filler in Illya's world.

The Heroic Spirit yes, but their exact form varies.
The way the Install system works is the magus uses their own body as both a catalyst and container to summon the Servant, so it makes sense that the person doing the ritual influences the outcome.
Even the base Servants in the card aren't quite right, which is why most of them have "Alter" appearances.

There's about ten chapters of content between the last scene we saw in the PV (Darius coming to the school) and when Julian shows up.
If they're going for two seasons, the most sensible place to do it would be the end of Chapter 12, after Darius kicks everyone's ass, Miyu gets not-raped, and Kuro finds Illya's empty bed. It's a suitable "darkest hour" cliffhanger ending and lets them open up the second season on the Illyabear! silly shit, which is pretty much the only breather time left in the series before the continuous action/PLOT in the fifteen chapters afterward.
Aside from a single very rough concept sketch of the "finale", they haven't shown anything at all beyond Chapter 12.
We saw in this preview that Erika is joining the group before the hot springs chapter, which might be evidence they're adding some padding.
With so much content and how it's paced, I just don't see how they could squeeze everything into one season, even with 12 episodes.

I enjoy the characters, the fights, the art in the Manga (which I find superior to the Anime) and Illya having an actual chance at a happy life with her family. People conveniently forget all the good stuff about Sakura, the way she used Rider to help Shirou at the temple when that could have killed her, and then did it again saving everyone in the forest.

Also the talk Shirou has with her about being his sidekick if they had met each other earlier.

It's just too bad, in any universe, fate never allows her to be battle partners with her senpai. For FSN, it's Zouken screwing up her body and making it next to impossible to help and when she does help, all the World's Evil just possesses her harder.

For Hollow, she tries to fight a sea of Avenger corpses to defend Shirou's home, and does great for a full hour of fighting, but gets overwhelmed with smack talk bantz from Ilya.

For Prisma, she gets trolled with a blank card and killed by Shinji of all people, then taken by Julian using her senpai love against her.

She just can't get a break. Apocrypha might be the only place where she lives a life of moderate happiness being tag team partners with her new onee-chan, Luvia. But she doesn't even know Shirou there.
