Just finished watching this and there is literally nothing good about this show at all, it's just flat out bad.

You can't even turn your brain off and just enjoy like kabaneri or boku no hero(If you guys enjoy these shows for other reason that's fine, i'm not trying to insult them, i think their great/only enjoyable things this season.) ,

Mayoiga is literally painful to watch be it the hideous animation(I swear there isn't a single on model character during motion) or it's generic characters and thei by the numbers uninspired character interactions.

All these interactions literally write themselves and i've seen it all 100x before with characters that are actually remotely interesting.

Honestly the show would be at least watchable if they just made it about pure action with the ghost village gimmick.

As it stands now, this show is literally shit. Like a 1/10, like worst than sword art online and i mean that from the bottom of my heart.

I enjoyed the first couple of episodes, was a disappointing conclusion.

It seemed like it would be good at first. It fell apart pretty fast though. I think they could have picked the pace up and just made it a movie. Ending was worse than Erased.

The first episode at least had the strange/creepy atmosphere going for it and it was full of hints that would make anyone think that shit would hit the fan and in a violent way.

It never even followed through on things like the suggestion that Mitsumune would snap. It's like they planned to kill everyone off but then changed their minds, but never went back to change episode 1 to fit the rest of the story.

Way too many characters considering the runtime.
It would have worked better with 5/6 since there actually would have been time to focus on all of them. From the top of my head I would say about only half of them had any sort of impact on the story, and only a select few of them were really relevant. Just think about how many characters you can remember from the top of your head compared to, say a show like LOTGH (Granted, not entirely fair because of the much longer runtime of the latter).

Really, the most interesting thing in the entire show was to find out what kind of problem everybody had, and in the end we didn't even get the answer for most of them.

The nanakis were actually able to become physical and harm others(Reiji tackling Jack is an example), turning them in real monsters and not just hallucinations.
