So i just finished the first part of Kawa no otoko no keikaku and i am just wondering something (10/10 anime by the way)

What exactly was Leatherman's motivation in this scene? The gym locker tournament arc was finished so why did he go back there? Was this to make his characterization more morally grey? He knew that the leather club was 2 blocks down as established in the beach wrestling episode so he must have done this out of a feeling of personal revenge and not heroism like before.

Anyway i have only heard good things about the "Billy Herrington of the millenium bondage dungeon" arc so i can't wait to continue
