We talked about this already. Dirk's motives are still a mystery. Speculation has it that the true big bads are Integrated Enterprise Foundation. The mad scientist that who took and experimented on Julis' childhood friend is supposedly a shadow organization under IEF, which should tell you the kind of things they would do behind the scenes.

Reasons haven't been told yet as far as I know, but Ophelia thinks she's doing it for some higher purpose, no doubt...instilled into her by those who experimented on her.

Other questions arises like who is going to look after Ayato who is looking after Julis since she is attracting attention by having won the Phoenix Festa. IEF is interested in her now, and being a princess beloning to a puppet kingdom under IEF's thumb means she's a political tool to be used. And what's the deal with Ayato's nee-san? Still unknown, but I suspect Dirk and Haruka have some kind of history, and it's probably why Dirk is doing whatever he's doing (possibly undermine IEF).
