Classic Tsundere (as in, what they were referring to pre-00's/90's): Defrosting the ice queen. Literally, tsundere used to just mean a girl who was frigid, standoffish, and aloof who thawed out over time in a straight line with none of the stuff they're known for today until they were loving.

Modern Tsundere (post 2000's): Anta baka! Betsu ni! Not like I did it for you! Hentai! Hot & Cold, bipolar. There is no "classic tsundere" that is the "good version" of this done right, this is what modern tsunderes have always been.

Dandere: Teh Rei and clones. Silent, 'emotionless', blankly staring or shy girls that are hard to read.

Kuudere: This is the one that EVERYONE gets wrong. Kuudere comes from "cool", which the Japanese literally mean "COLD". These are the ice queens and standoffish bitches who are hard to get close to. Ryougi Shiki from KnK is a Kuudere. C.C. from Code Geass is a Kuudere.

Classic Tsundere doesn't exist anymore, it was replaced by normal tsundere and BECAME Kuudere.

There are some other differences too, such as, that classic tsunderes just as stated above, went in one direction. They start out bitchy and then become loving as they fall in love with the MC.

Kuuderes CAN become super dere dere (Senjougahara from Monogatari is a good example), but usually they stay very biting, full of bants or sarcasm or snide comments about the MC even after they have feelings for them.

No, tsuntsun really does just refer to the usual array of cliche'd tsundere types of comments and behavior you're used to. Kuudere is more like dry sarcasm and actual insults with venom behind them then tsuntsun, which is "I like you but now I'm embarassed so mean things I obviously don't mean pop out as a kneejerk response".
