Deus ex machinas remain the biggest bullshit in all of writing. It's insanely rare in real life battles for people to show up "just in the nic of time". It's dramatic but corny as fuck, writers need to stop doing it.

Remember how Rika travelled back in time in her adult form to prevent the bus crash of Miyo Takano's parents? That just came out of nowhere. Looks like the director was very desperate to create a happy ending for every single character for the show.

I drop any show that has a hint of time travelling or loop bullshit. Shit just ruins the entire show.
