What's more bullshit in writing?
Timeskip power ups or time travelling to avoid consequences?
>he's fast
time travelling to avoid consequences, at least with time skip power ups you avoid the fluff of actually having to show a boring training montage.

Time travelling and alternate universes.
Deus ex machinas remain the biggest bullshit in all of writing. It's insanely rare in real life battles for people to show up "just in the nic of time". It's dramatic but corny as fuck, writers need to stop doing it.

Spoilers about higurashi no naku koro ni kaiRemember how Rika travelled back in time in her adult form to prevent the bus crash of Miyo Takano's parents? That just came out of nowhere. Looks like the director was very desperate to create a happy ending for every single character for the show.
I drop any show that has a hint of time travelling or loop bullshit. Shit just ruins the entire show.

timeskip power ups are fine. sometimes it just doesn't make sense to write 200 chapters of training
that's why there are training montages in movies. else you'd bore the audience/reader to death. the fact that it bothers you only highlights what an immature viewer you are. perhaps you should head back to MAL or maybe lurk more before posting here.

Exactly actually having training arcs is a waste of time. They're no more interesting than showing the protagonist eating and shitting.
Both parents are out of town or abroad.

Oh fuck off, if an author can't spend 1 chapter of just a flash back or have a character explain how he obtained an ability then he's just lazy as shit and the writing sucks.

So you don't watch anime at all.
plot is a convenience or excuse for character interactions, they (japs) don't give a shit if it's "cliche" or "contrived"
