In the beginning before Viz came around, FA had this really nice balance, but then because the translator is so supportive of the localization he decides to make his Niggerstream mode 110%. I mean the guy even admits he has contact with the guy translating for Viz, so it's obvious that since Viz allowed him to work his magic it's gotta be watered down until the flavor is all fucked up.

If you read back and compare the earlier volumes side by side you'll notice how Viz might be more accurate (keyword might not a moonreader here) but FA flowed better and didn't seem as stiff.

Once the USJ arc ended it just kinda started getting real bad. I know FA makes mistakes time to time on accuracy, but the balance has nothing to do with that.

That has nothing to do with my statement, are you blind? Niggerstream page basically has no one saying selfish shit, while the Viz version is has fags that are basically revealing they only care about All Might as a shield of protection for themselves first and foremost.

With the former, everyone is genuinely pushing All Might because of their adoration for them, with the latter you can see people starting to revealing their prioritization on their own safety, even at the expense of All Might.

This is important pertaining to the future chapters for those who wanna predict and not just take it as it comes. It has nothing to do with who words it better, the context is completely different.

It's no different than how in Kingdom an army will cheer for it's general with fanaticism and will die for him, while on the flip side an army will cheer for it's general in desperation and bail the moment shit hits the fan deserting their position.

All I care about is which one do the raws imply, as that basically 'proves' how society truly feels about All Might, and is a reflection on how much karma he gained through all his work. I have no favoritism towards one or the other.

Just finished reading the series.

Been a long time since I had such a love/hate relationship. I wouldn't call it bad, but II'lso fight anyone who'd try to tell me this is some new timeless shonen people will remember for years to come.

I like some things the author does and my god is he the only shonen mangaka today who knows how to draw teenage girls with realistic proportions, but the story could be so much more. This is as generic as shonens get, I think fucking Dragon Ball was less generic, and it basically defied the genre.

Still, All Might's cool, manga is fun and anime has its moment. That's probably it.
