I wish I could get into DaS3 PvP but I can't. It's just R1 spamming and hyper armour currently and armour is useless. It's not varied enough unless you do builds like that, which are fun but take forever to set up. Plus poise does nothing at all despite being visible on the stat screen and Namco are saying that it not actually doing anything is a feature. I understand cutting poise for PvP but there's now no way to actually play the game in PvP multiple times without getting bored since if you don't use straight swords and have light armour you're literally gimping yourself, there's no advantage to selecting anything else. I can't be bothered to play past Road of Sacrifices on new characters since the game was balanced around multiple methods of tackling it but they made all but one way ridiculously shitty and it just isn't fun to play any other way. End rant.

We've already seen why Aisho has a reason for distrusting humans so it'd make sense we'll see short backstory flashbacks for Damo, Yagiyama and maybe even the twins in the future

The mysterious publisher's logo mentioned a few times in the beginning is foreshadowing of a second similar rockman group generally formed out of older and more experienced, Damo-tier ones, the weird mangaka could be one of them

The big bad will be either some ancient rockman who wants open conflict with humans or whoever massacred them in WWII (or a descendant of that person or group)

Karera doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, she's just a stalker and the twins hunted her down because she's the only living person who cares about Josefumi and Damo's currently using his documents

Rods are not real. And before you freak out and say JoJo is fiction and there's plenty of not real shit to justify it, it's an entirely different kind of not real. Having a character control Rods as if they are a real creature is like having a character control "ghost orbs" in photographs. Ghost orbs are dust on the lense. Rods are video artifacting of bugs flying.

I'm totally fine with punchghosts and green babies and ripple and the spin and actual ghosts living inside photos that can fly around, but making a stand ability out of someone's misunderstanding of how a camera works is dumb and I can't forgive it.
