The eureka seven movie and AO have clearly demonstrated that the person who made the show good was Dai Sato not Kyoda.

I'm always ready for more Imaishi, the dude's a great fit for mecha cause he's ace at delivering that manly tenacity which works so well with big robots. Still gotta watch E7 though.

Eureka 7 is fucking terrible.

Animation and music is nice, but the plot was more complicated than it should be, I felt it was getting nowhere and the payoff wasn't good either, I liked Anemone and her fucccboi, Holland too, but the relationship between Renton and Eureka was maybe a bit too realistic in a way that stressed me out every time they were in a fight or some shit.

Also, filler every now and then.

I'd give it a 6.8/10, if only because Animation was pretty great and the themes in some episodes were a nice change from the usual.
