If you've seen biblical films, the ones that pull off something right by not being about religious values rather than being historical stories laced with supernatural, you should see that there is potential for intriguing stories.

I'd love to see an adaption made one of these days. Each time, a random kid somewhere in the world gains the power to beat the monster, and the nations of the world unite behind him to save the world. World peace is achieved, until everything breaks down a few years down the road.

What part of it?

Genesis-Deuteronomy was brutal and had lots of dark themes that could work well. The whole story of Moses is a popular one to make derivative works of.

Judges through to Ezra reads like something out of Game of Thrones.

Daniel has some trippy dream sequences which would lend well to animation.

Obviously there's the story of Christ, which is the focal point of the Bible. That would need to be animated diligently in order to not look disrespectful.

Paul's missions could potentially make for an interesting series. Americans would love the whole 'free speech' vibe.

Revelation has nearly been done to death in anime. It's clearly the favourite book of the Bible as far as Japanese are concerned. Serial Experiments Lain, EoE, Monster, and so on all either cover or reference Revelation, and there's certainly many others which do too.

There are stories from the Tanakh, New Testament, and some of the other various texts that can fall under the Judeo-Christian umbrella that could make for an interesting anime, but if you're just suggesting the gospel story I don't think it would be particularly good, at least without huge amounts of liberties taken with it. I just have never really found the story all that compelling, the whole "greatest story ever told" meme has always felt really strained to me.

There's some really cool biblical stuff though, and it would be especially nice to see it done while avoiding going full chuunibyou with Revelations or Enoch or the like.

The book of Daniel could actually be a really nice thing to adapt.
